Hi, I want to make a sidebar like the one in Google Maps, but I'm having trouble finding a way which will work fast on slower computers. So, instead of changing the size of the container, I was thinking of using a DIV over the map. Problem is, I'm overriding the Google logo and the zoom control.
I've made a simple page to show what I had in mind (more or less): http://celtric.org/gmap.html Once you click the sidebar (red), it collapses to give more space to the map. But I'm just "hiding" it under the sidebar, so it's not good enough. Any ideas?
