You could use EInsert.groundOverlay().

EInsert.groundOverlay() is a static method of EInsert which creates an 
EInsert instance using parameters similar to those of GGroundOverlay, so 
you don't have to perform your own calculations to determine the centre 
point and size.

EInsert isn't as smart as GGroundOverlay. It doesn't do clever things 
like switching itself off for printing, but nor does it attempt to 
perform projection transformation, so the image needs to be drawn with 
the same projection as the map display (Mercator).

And remember that not all of the compatible browsers support the 
printing of partially transparent PNG images.
