I'm having trouble with this map. It displays my custom incons for points loaded into the map, but when I create a new point on the map, the custom icons work fine - called in as symbol1, symbol2, symbol3 . . . .
When I create a point on the map it adds to my database, removes the old point, and calls a function to create the point on the map where it passes everything, including the symbol type based on drop down selection. It's the same function that adds points to my map on load. Anyway, I know the symbol type is getting passed through, but any new point I add show up with the Default Icon. Is what I'm trying to achieve possible or is the sole chance to add custom icons at load.
