Thanks for the reply.  I wanted to use your code as a base, not to
copy it in its entirety. You can't learn if you just copy...

However, the way your code is setup, apparently I can't use the cookie
cutter method of writing some of my own and using some of yours.  I
tried to use all of yours, but in your map example, you fail to
initialize the API in the body tag.  I had to rework it a bit to
initialize the map and use your code now.  Please understand that I'm
not trying to talk bad about you/your code, it is just confusing to
how you have it laid out in your examples.  Also understand, that
without your examples, I would still be twiddling my thumbs pouring
over the cryptic documentation from Google.

Thank you for the help and for allowing others to use your code, it
sure has helped me.
