Perhaps you want to look at putting your informaton in a Database,
there are some articles here:

http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/articles.html

that might give you some pointers (even if dont want to use php/mysql)

basically you are jsut creating a store locator.


(You wont be able to easily use Google My Maps to 'host' your data, as
there isnt easy filtering options (ok technically it is possible) -
but critically a single map can only contain 1000 features)
