That's exactly what Google expects, decimal degrees First be sure your source data really is in decimal degrees, and not in DMS degrees/minutes/seconds or DD degrees/decimal minutes. This may not be obvious in say GPS derived data. Then you need to know the coordinate reference systems. It is possible to have decimal degrees from a diferent baseline, Google always expects WGS84.
