To use an external js file would not lead to more or lesser memory leaks. The main difference is that a few browsers like IE would not download the js file again if it's already cached.

The insight, if the library causes memory leaks, is - lets say - difficult - up to very defficult. Where do use the library in your page? I couldn't find its being used. If its not being used, I would load the page without it.
