I have written a sample HTML page that uses Google Maps API to try this Geocoding and Reverse Geocoding functionality. Your information added some more confusion. Actually there is one place Salama in Guatemala, and one in Honduras. if i try Salama, Guatemala it returns the coordinates as "15.10336, -90.314079". if i try Salama, Honduras it returns the coordinates as "14.886623,-86.575496". i tried both in maps.google.com and using a html page that uses Google Map API. my question is both Gautemala and Honduras are not in the list ( http://gmaps-samples.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/mapcoverage_filtered.html) of Geocoding countries. If i am wrong, please explain the results.
