Hi Vincent, That's a nice idea for a travel blog system; AFAIK nobody's doing anything like it. So in other words, if you want it, it's up to you to build it. That's what the API is all about.
What you're describing would be fairly easy for an experienced map developer, a good intro to the Maps API for a general web developer, or a challenging first project for a complete newbie. If you're willing to pay, there's no doubt that someone here would be happy to build it for you. Otherwise, we'll be happy to chime in if you get stuck while building it yourself, and have specific questions - but we're not going to build it for you for free. Good luck with it!
