dont worry about it, that kml was a quick test job.

the original intent of this post was to figure out if i could
use .hide and .show with kml
but, as i and you noted above, that doesnt seem to be working very
well yet, so i went back to addoveralay and removeoverlay for kml

the second issues was really in response to your much earlier post on
Jan 21, 5:22 pm. i tried to use some code i found (see my post on Jan
22, 9:45 am ) that would wait till the kml was completely loaded to
then run .hide, however, since i am not useing .hide for now, it is a
moot point.
