Now that the Google-Maps group has closed down, we seem to be getting a lot of strays coming in here who have failed to find the new Maps Help Forum.
Perhaps we should consider a consistent approach to dealing with such strays. Should we immediately point them at the new forum? http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/map Should we make some attempt to help them out, like pointing out that all online mapping services seem to consider that the real name of Cadiz Circle is "Sabal Ridge Circle", and that if the street name has changed in the last few years it might take quite a while before the TeleAtlas van comes round to re-survey it? Would if be appropriate for Pamela to add a sticky post that mentions the new forum? Could she ask the guys that ran the old Google-Maps group to put the link to the new forum in a larger font size? -- http://econym.org.uk/gmap The Blackpool Community Church Javascript Team --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
