If you can create a 360 degree view, then it's not too hard to associate 
it with a Google Map. Here's a good one that was written back in the 
days before StreetView was available in the API

But most people just display the map and the panorama as two completely 
separate things, with no direct link between them:

There's nothing in the Google Maps API that will help you create or 
display your own panoramas.
