Hi, have you a proxy configured in your IE6? I had a similar problem and found the following solution: # In Internet Explorer, choose Tools > Internet Options. # Click the Advanced tab. # Under HTTP 1.1 settings, check "Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections".
proxy connections in IE6 with http/1.0 are broken for large js-files (like the google maps api) descriped in http://groups.google.com/group/Google-Maps-API/browse_thread/thread/3db7effd22aca683/e7338095c368d4dd?lnk=gst&q=ie6#e7338095c368d4dd On 9 Jan., 06:43, anup_sapient <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi, > > I am getting a java script error message "unterminated string > constant, line no 9, char 7165 ", when Google map loads in IE 6 in my > application.
