Hi all, We've had a google map featured on our club website for a couple of years and had no problems with it. It is using V1 of the API.
Each member places a marker as to where they live around the world. The map probably has a few thousand place markers. The associated KML file containing all of the information is 1.53MB in size. One day the map suddently stopped working, even though no changes were made. The map frame/outline is still there but no map appears, instead it is a grey box. Is there a limitation of some sort on the number of place markers or size of KML file that may have caused this. Or what other reasons could there be for the map to suddenly not be displaying?
