If you only have limited knowledge about the Google Maps API I would recommend that you read the API Concepts pages: http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/index.html and some of the examples etc referred to on there. Then you should look at some of the basic examples in Mike Williams' tutorials: http://econym.org.uk/gmap/
When you feel confidant about putting a map on a web page and placing some markers, then search through these discussion pages to see how other people have handle placing markers from GPS co-ordinates (and the traps they have encountered on the way). e.g. if you search for 'plotting GPS' you will get the following: http://groups.google.com/group/Google-Maps-API/search?group=Google-Maps-API&q=plotting+GPS&qt_g=Search+this+group Happy hacking igloo --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
