Hi, I have tried to follow the From Info Windows to a Database: Saving User-Added Form Data example by Pamela Fox, http://code.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=80201&useful=0&show_useful=1 on a new LAMP install on Linux.
but i keep getting an 'Not connected : Access denied for user 'wwwrun'@'localhost' (using password: NO)'. I have tested all Apache, MySQL and PHP individually and they seem to be working. I have also created a new user and granted all priviledges to the database, but it's still giving me the same problem, so i'm sure it's not a username/password issue. I cannot post a link as it's on localhost. Also changed permission to 755 for .../user/public_html and /srv/www/ htdocs I am half way through the example, but can't go on, an can't seem to find a solution anywhere. Anyone got a clue what could be wrong? Any help appreciated.
