The users in my community don't want their exact address or geolocation to appear on the google map.
They want their marker to appear on the map, but they want google maps to disguise the location by a couple hundred feet (the address is their home...it's for security reasons). Any thoughts on how this could be implemented? I am thinking of randomly adding or subtracting x to the geolocation. The problem with doing that is, however, that in most case the marker would show off the street (sometimes in the water, mountains, or in the middle of nowhere). Is is possible to accomplish this via a different method? Maybe find a near street and place the marker automatically there? I will appreciate any help or suggestions! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
