Formal enhancement requests may be made here - http://code.google.com/p/gmaps-api-issues/issues/list but I wouldn't expect too much, Google probably won't want to encourage extra-heavy use of this shared resource (the GGeoXml server)
As a stop-gap there are alternative KML parsers to GGeoXml, discussed in this group.
