When I use string "google" as publisherID I can see ads on my maps mashup. However, when I change publisherID to "pub-1234567890123456" (being my correct id for content) ads markers are completely missing. Same web application, same area, same zoom level, in one case I can see ads, in another I can't. I have also tried ca-pub-* variation and just with the number part but no success. Complete thing is tested on a machine that is not visible to google bots (and in GWT 'hosted mode' as well) so I don't think that it's about indexing. What could be a problem here? My speculation is that ads are not shown because my AdSense payement address is out of the region that has AdSense for Maps coverage, but I might be completely wrong.
