Map pages have a "Link" link at the top right where Google Maps will generate an embeddable HTML code block. When I do this, the first few times I access a map through the embedded link it works, but then subsequent tries start retrieving fewer and fewer tiles. The message on the tile is the standard "no detail at this zoom level", but examining the traffic with Fiddler I see 403 responses including the text
"... but your query looks similar to automated requests from a computer virus or spyware application. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now." Why is Google treating the requests, which it generated itself, as potential virus requests? And yes, I can guarantee that my computer is not infected. The 403 errors are responses to tile requests generated from the embedded iframe. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
