There are two types of URLs, absolute URLs, which begin with a protocol identifier, like "http://", and relative URLs which don't. Relative URLs are considered to identify resources that are in the same location as your current page, which in your case is "http://www.ultramapper.com/".
E.g. if you write <a href="index.html"> or <a href="www.ironhorse100kmclub.com"> it looks for a file with that name in the same location as your current page. It may be obvious to you that URLs beginning with "www." are probably intended to be domain names, but it's not obvious to your browser. As far as it knows you could have a file called "www.ironhorse100kmclub.com" on your site. -- http://econym.org.uk/gmap The Blackpool Community Church Javascript Team --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
