If you only have a couple of roads to display, using the GDirections
feature may be an answer, however, you may run into some sort of
problems with processing lag and even terms of service conflicts.

Developing your own road database is a major undertaking but can be
done. Changing colors of roads will require knowing the points though,
there is no way around that.
