I want to display a sort of "Map Key" in the upper right hand corner
of my map that explains a few things.
I've easily done this using the follow code.
var container = document.createElement("div");
controlDiv = document.createElement("img");
controlDiv.src = "path/to/my/image";
container.appendChild(controlDiv);
map.getContainer().appendChild(container);
Only problem is that it displays only in the upper left corner.
I've done a custom control with a different position by defining a
function for
Control.prototype.getDefaultPosition and then doing something like
GControlPosition(G_ANCHOR_TOP_LEFT, new GSize(7, 7));
I can do this and just not assign a click even to the control but it
seems kind of like a hack. Is there a better way to do it?
