Hello there,
My question is more related to geography than to the API itself, but maybe somebody can help me. I’m storing lat and long from different places in a DB, I would like to be able to calculate a radius (let’s say 1 km, is this too acurate??) from the long and lat given as a central point and retrieve from my database all the lats and longs inside that area to place them in the map. I do this because it will be easier to place in the map all the last and longs stored from the city but they may be a LOT. So... Lets say my coordinates are 40.4167413, -3.7032498 (This is Madrid) Which calculations will be needed to get the range of longs & Lats in 1 km radius? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
