I noticed that if I have a kml file with 2000+ placemarks, it usually just won't display. I'm wondering if there are documented scalability parameters.
I'm also wondering if someone could comment on some methods for scalability when using a large number of points. Really, I only need to see the placemarks that are visible within the current boundary of the zoom, so I figure there must be a way to optimize.
