The map and marker all load OK in both browsers (FF and IE7). Data is read from a static xml (dummy) file.
However openInfoWindowHtml doesn't open an info window in IE7 (only version I can test on), whether in a FF IE window, or in IE& itself. In IE7 it throws an error: "line 1375 etc contentElem is null or not an object". Searching any remotely related thread hasn't enlightened me; I'm hoping that someone can! I know the marker listener is loading in all cases; a commented out alert in the script proved that. On mouseover, the alert popped then info window opened for tabbed and no tab markers in FF, and for tabbed markers in IE7. But, in IE7 after the alert popped, the info window didn't and doesn't open for no tabs marker. Link: http://map.cmacinspectionservices.ca/ Script and xml file in same directory. The marker at the centre of the map has the "defective" performance in IE7. This is likely something very simple, but I can't see it and will very much appreciate your advice and suggestions. Thanks in advance. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
