My map at http://lovebunnies.luckypro.biz/01_stuff/roman_holiday/romanholidaymap.html is working great! I even managed to make the sidebar rollovers use a different set of markers. But if the user has a lot of markers showing, many will be mostly hidden behind others, so the rollover is not apparent.
I've been searching here and found a post (I think by marcelo) that offered a solution he called "floating markers." But he didn't provide a link to any code. So now I'd like to try having the sidebar mouseover/out add and remove a layer. That should cause the rollover markers to always appear in front, right? The problem is that I can't figure out how to get the lat/lng point of the gmarker associated with the sidebar entry, and pass that to a function. In other words, to set a var = point and have an overlay be created for that value. Any advice or examples would be greatly appreciated! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
