This is a really stupid problem, but it's preventing me from trying -- desperately-- to help myself.
The Expand All button has stopped working for me (Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.4; en-US; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009011912 Firefox/3.0.6). I've been getting the captcha pages a lot, and I note the status bar at the bottom of my browser window often flashes that I'm getting a response from "sorry.google.com." I've deleted all my Google cookies, but the problem persists. It seems the Expand All will sometimes work, but often not, pretty much randomly. So I end up with a lot of individual posts collapsed. A possible clue is that the collapsed posts have no text in them at all. It used to be that collapsed posts had a grayed-out first line of text, but now half or more of the posts in a thread have no text at all. I think they're blank: that the sorry.google.com in my status bar means Google can't send me those posts. Does anyone know how I can cure this? It doesn't do me any good to Search for threads if I can't read'em! I'm totally bummed!
