I have a double-click handler for my overlay. Nothing fancy. But when I double-click on the overlay, I don't always get the double-click event. What I've found is that if there is an info window open for the overlay, then double-clicking on the overlay gives me the event every time. But if there's no info window open for the overlay, I don't get the event, and further, the map re-centers, as though the double-click bypassed the overlay altogether and just went right to the map. Can anyone suggest a reliable way to detect double-click on an overlay?
