I’m new to JavaScript and Google Maps so have been completing the excellent tutorials by Mike Williams at http://econym.org.uk/gmap/
I am trying to achieve the following: A) Google Map with custom icons. B) Google Map with tabs to display more information. C) Google Map that loads data from a XML file. D) Google Map with multiple (2) sidebars. E) Google Map with directions in the second tab. I have managed to achieve all of the above individually, but not as one file/Google map. The nearest I have come is by combing (a), (b) and (c) as one Google Map. I’ve attempted to add the sidebars but the links do not appear. Any hints or tips on where I’m going wrong would be very much appreciated as I’m really pulling my hair out with this one.
