You are very lucky to get that quality of terrain data for your country in the public domain. The odds on similar data being prised out of UK Ordnance Survey are not very good. You will need to experiment to determine if the hi resolution data is accessable through the Google Earth JavaScript API, which does of course need the Earth Plugin to be installed and loaded. When I tried this for the UK around some sea cliffs (Beachy Head), the results were very disappointing - but that was several months ago.
