Patrick from Opera has written a tutorial how to improve keyboard
accessibility of Google Maps.
http://dev.opera.com/articles/view/keyboard-accessible-google-maps/

His script injects invisible button elements to map controls so that
they can be reached by [Tab] and [shift+Tab].

The control elements are found by 'log' attribute. That makes the
technique a bit hacky.
