If it doesn't work, it's highly likely that it's not supported. See http://www.google.com/intl/en/ipv6/faq.html, where Maps isn't listed: --- What services are available? Google services available currently include Google search (including image search, blog search and code search), Alerts, Calendar, Docs, Finance, Gmail, Health, iGoogle, News, Notebook, Reader and Sites. We'll be adding new services in the future, though, so check back often. --- There are currently problems with getting keys for IDN addresses, let alone IPv6.
