Hi all,

I've been developping a map application using the static Google maps
API. I was wondering if the generated static (image , eg jpg) maps can
be saved as then uplodaded to a website server, or is it mandatory to
use the api (the generated image URL) systematically, to display
generated maps on a website, considering that no changes are done to
the final rendered image, it's still containing google logo and
trademarks as the originally rendered image.

In other words may i embed in a webpage an image generated through the
static api, using a relative path : for ex http://myserver.com/myimage.jpg,
instead of http://maps.google.com/staticmap?center ....... etc , as
long as I keep original google logo and trademarks from the generated
map.

Thanks in advance
