jMaps is a code layer which uses jQuery and the underlying Maps API. You can't use jMaps without the API. > -Does JMAP using JQUERY have any advantage over Google Maps API? My opinion is that there is no advantage using jQuery or jMaps at all. They provide additional complexity with more things to go wrong, and they complicate debugging. They do have their adherents, though. This post may have a bearing on your decision, as there is the potential for the Maps API to be changed and the jMaps library not keeping up. That's happened to a couple of external libraries. http://groups.google.com/group/jmaps/browse_thread/thread/cdc98e71a1a3cd59# Andrew PS: Do say "jMaps" not "JMAP". JMAP is several completely different things. http://code.google.com/p/jmap/ http://www.jmap.org/ --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
