That tutorial only shows how to intercept the directions pane, not the
markers themselves. I want to be able to click on the "A" marker, for
example, and have an infoWindow containing my HTML appear, instead of
the map that is currently shown.

The points may be different each time, by the way, so I need to load
the polyline dynamically.
