Don't forget that this only means you can use Virtual Earth to display OS-derived data if you also have a suitable licence to do so from Ordnance Survey (usually a CWS licence, at minimum £5,000 per annum). Almost any location data for the UK is derived from OS data, and they informed me recently that locating points using TeleAtlas data used by Google also creates OS-derived data. So unless you can afford, or already have, big licenses from OS, Google Maps API is technically impossible to use for UK locations. The rest of the world is fine! Also keep an eye on the forthcoming budget, when OS trading requirements and Terms are likely to change (including derived data rules).
