I have an infowindow with an embedded map, and with a 3-second delay before showing an icon marker - which may or may-not appear, using FF.
But in Chrome (and prbly the newest browser versions) it comes up like right now! Just a thought for some of you who may be bitten - as I have been - by misinterpreting this as a bug, and with thanks to those of you who've pointed out the rendering speed issue to me.
