We have created .svg images of certain campus buildings by tracing out the outlines in Google Maps.
We would like to overlay these images and display them on our site and the iPhone app we're developing, within Google Maps. On the iPhone app, we'd like to be able to use the GPS function. Therefore, the images have to be geo-spatially accurate. What are the image requirements so that we can properly align these files? We were thinking of defining the top-left and bottom-right corners of the image with their lat/lons and adding them to a database of our files, but we will have hundreds of images and we dont know if this is the best approach. Would appreciate any/all insights.... --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
