Hallo, I am at start learning API and have the following problem with example from Map Basics: http://code.google.com/intl/en/apis/maps/documentation/introduction.html
When map appears in a window of Internet Explorer I see abracadabra instead of Russian text for units (lower left corner), on buttons (upper right corner) and Terms of use (lower right corner). At the same time my russian title in IE window header looks ok. Parameters for View | Encoding are: AutoSelect (checked), Cyrillic (Windows). Every time I must manually uncheck AutoSelect and then check it again, and only after these actions I see Russian text in all places correctly. I tried to add language parameter hl=ru for src attribute, add lang="en" xml:lang="en to <div>, but without success. There is now such problem in FireFox. Is there a way to overcome this? Thank you for any hint. Alexander --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
