There is/was a 'MyMaps Data API' but not currently available. [Dropped
by Google?]

Preliminary Docs for MyMaps Data API
Objective:
"My Maps" is a feature in Google Maps that allows users to create and
edit personal maps and share them with others. The objective of the
GData API is to provide an interface for My Maps storage that can be
used by API developers to more easily develop Maps mashups.

"The My Maps Data API is [WAS] made up of the following feeds and
entry kinds:

    * The Maps Feed
          o The list of maps owned by the user. Each entry describes
one "maps" feed.
    * Map Entry Kind
          o Represents one map.
          o Contains links to the feed where map features are exposed.

    * The MapFeatures Feed
          o A single feed containing all features contained in a map.
Each entry is a feature.
    * MapFeatures Entry Kind
          o Represents one map feature, which may be either a
placemark, line or shape."

whether this has been dropped or not by Google is unknown (schema
links are returning 404 errors now).
