Not really, but I can tell you what's happening and suggest something. Zoom 3: your overlay runs from (-22,-147) to (53,-24) approximately Zoom 2: your overlay runs from (-55,150) to (72,396) Zoom 1: your overlay runs from (-82,-180) to (86,180) That's fine, although the value of 396 instead of 36 seems a little off! At zoom 1, you create the right overlay but the API squishes it into the zone between -180 and 180, which is no space at all. The same thing happens with zoom 0. What I don't know is how you force the overlay to go the long way round the globe: but I guess you could try limiting the longitude to the range [-179,179] and see if that makes a difference.
