When the user clicks on the map , the position is recorded and a route is drawn from the user position to a preset position . Also included in this click event is the printing of the distance from the getDistance() function . However , the first time i click on the map somehow the getDistance() data does not show up . If I click again the route chages accordingly and then the data shows up . This is weird because i have included a flag to make sure that once the user selects a source position he/she cannot select another source unless they reload the page or click on the reset source button . The flag was working fine till i introduced this getDistance() function .
