So I have a database containing several thousand coordinates (lat/long + postcode). My question is this - how does one go about rendering these with the map api. It strikes me that you can't push all of them to the map at once, so how do people achieve this?
My initial thoughts were to get the lat/long boundaries of the map on page load/change and then return database items that fall within those boundaries via ajax. So if you zoom out/pan, then it will return the new data. I've looked about for info on this subject but haven't been able to find anything - and I figured that what I'm trying to do is not an uncommon thing in the GM api world. Any help/advice is appreciated! Ben --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
