Thanks for the response John - though I detect more frustration in your post rather than a desire to help ;-) Apologies if I've asked a stupidly obvious question.
I'd been through the API docs maybe I just don't know what I'm looking for. Maybe you'd be so kind as to point out the bit i've missed..? Also, I was under the impression that an encoded polygon was and efficient way to produce a fairly vertex heavy polygon.
