Ok. thanks. will keep it there then. Weird thing however...On my demo page, i managed to remove it by setting its display at none, and i had a weird effect. When i would open an infowindow the map would pan so that the info windows stays out of the map!!!weird stuff. No need to get an answer in that. just mentioning the weird symptom.
