after playing with this further i seem to have gone backwards as my
sidebar isnt relating to my markers any more at all!

This is the section which is obviously not working for me:

side_bar_html += '<a href="javascript:myclick(gmarkers.length)" > ' +
name + '</a> <br>' ;

On my original map when the sidebar entry was clicked it would open
the appropriate info window. That doesnt work since I started to make
the mousover work and i cant spot what im missing out any ideas?
