hi, I did search on this.sh and read the posts and followed the links and, though I may be missing something, none seem to apply.
I will post a link to my map at the bottom of this. My map "seems" to work fine in Chrome, FF, and IE8/7. In IE I get a JS error link in the lower left corner...here are the details from that. Webpage error details User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.0; Trident/ 4.0; GTB5; Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1) ; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; Media Center PC 5.0; InfoPath.2; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 3.5.21022; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30618) Timestamp: Tue, 14 Apr 2009 20:45:00 UTC Message: 'this.sh' is null or not an object Line: 365 Char: 29 Code: 0 URI: http://maps.google.com/intl/en_us/mapfiles/151e/maps2.api/main.js In FF with FireBug breaking on errors I get a similar error. But again, everything looks normal and seems to work. This happens only when clicking one kind of marker and it takes some setting up to get to that point. So if you have the patience here is how to do that. Connect to http://op2s.com/tripplanner/tp8.htm Create a route by entering a Start, Vias, and End. Click Set or press Enter after each. Click Get Directions After the route is drawn click Place Fuel Marker. This puts a fuel marker at refueling increments. To get the error click one of the markers. This makes it draggable. You should get the error at that point. In FB this is how the object is described. so a (lat. lon) followed by some undefined element. [Object ja=(33.607215039023416, -114.59719588553243), undefined, (33.607215039023416, -114.59719588553243) $e=33.607215039023416 Na=-114.59719588553243 0=Object] Could it be that I am passing the lat/lon incorrectly? That the should be in 0 and 1 rather than both in 0? Oh...I don't get the error when running in localhost...just when on the server. I've been working in JS for about a month and am admittedly a bit over my head, but am treading water and learning how to swim. I've gotten an enormous step up by reading the code and using the JS people have posted here...I appreciate that and hope this isn't a silly issue that is explained fully someplace else. This site is very much in the dev state now. It won't be available to the public until I do a lot of cleaning up. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
