I got the search result Lat and Lng using the googleBar control (found some description of that somewhere). It's a decent control with the old style--the new style is garbage. Seems they forgot that people don't use the same font sizes on all computers with the new one. But the thing I found that worked with the googleBar control also worked with the google.maps.LocalSearch() control. So now it is working quite well and I am pleased. :^)
I combined this with a tool (for finding out if a point is inside a polygon) by Mike Williams that I found at: http://econym.org.uk/gmap/epoly.htm You can see it if you want at: http://www.healthypetmobilevet.com/area.shtml I love finding creative commons licensed code from real developers that I can hack! -Brian P --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
