for the drawing toolset, check out the geometrycontrols in the google dev library
http://gmaps-utility-library-dev.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/geometrycontrols/examples/test.html they mimic the mymaps tools, and can easily be overriden to do what you want. here's a site I used the geometrycontrols with, and added the behavior of finding points within the polygon: http://ruffapp.ornith.cornell.edu/cub-test/maps/map to see it in action, create a polygon around some points, and then either click or mouse over the chart. For future users, these changes will be permanently added here http://watch.birds.cornell.edu/cub/maps/map On Apr 21, 10:39 am, Archi <[email protected]> wrote: > Thanks both of you I try this tomorrow :-) > > Regards, > Archi > > On Apr 21, 2:03 am, marcelo <[email protected]> wrote: > > > > > Brian, > > > I hadn't noticed that you were a different poster than the original > > poster. ;-) > > > > I didn't look athttp://maps.forum.nu/gm_drag_polygon.html > > > so I don't know if that just makes rectangles. > > > It makes rectangles or circles. > > > -- > > Marcelo -http://maps.forum.nu > > -- --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
